What we offer

Humane training methods are used in all our training. Choke chains (also referred to as check chains) are not used or suggested. Pinch collars and shock collars are not mentioned. Under no circumstances will pain or fear inducing methods be used. Tersia includes clicker training and TTouch® in all courses. If the clicker is not what you would prefer, you will be assisted differently. The main training method remains positive reinforcement.
Option 1

Pups to Heal: from 8 weeks

Is your puppy younger than 16 weeks? Does he chew? Bite? Jump up? Mess in the house? Bring him to Puppy Classes! Prevent behaviour problems and build confidence - help him become a safe dog!

The value of puppy classes cannot be over emphasized as many problems can be prevented if you have a confident dog who can handle new situations comfortably. The most valuable time for building this kind of confidence is when the dog is between 8 and 16 to 20 weeks. Although different obedience exercises are covered in puppy class, the main purpose is to build confidence. One cannot prepare puppies for every situation they will come across, but one can help them to negotiate these comfortably. Nothing can guarantee a dog who will be safe in every situation, but enrolling your puppy in a well-run puppy class is certainly a step in the right direction. Puppies can be enrolled from the age of 8 weeks - depending on the vaccination history. Different topics such as house training, chewing, and bite inhibition are covered. Different obstacles are negotiated to give puppies a sense of achievement. Puppies get in contact with different dogs and people in a healthy environment.
